dol does not collect your personal information. There is no account and no login, and the app contains no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking. Nothing you write is sent to a server operated by the developer.

Notes, folders, and attached images are stored in a database on your device. The developer cannot see them.
dol can sync through a CouchDB server that you choose and control — your own, or one from a hosting provider. When sync is on, your notes travel between your devices and that server only. The developer neither operates that server nor has any access to it. If you never turn sync on, your notes never leave your device.
The server address and password you enter are kept in your device's system keychain — Keychain on macOS and iOS, Credential Manager on Windows — and are used only to connect to the server you named.
If you attach a photo, the app reads your camera or photo library at that moment. The image is saved into your notes on your device and is not sent anywhere else. If you decline the permission, everything else in the app still works.
dol contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking SDKs. Your data is never linked with data from other companies and is never shared with data brokers.
Apple gives the developer anonymous, aggregated statistics about apps distributed on the App Store, such as download counts and crash reports. Apple collects this, only when you have allowed it in your iOS settings, and it does not identify you.
